Mission Statment

Walaika Children's Choir of Trinity United Church of Christ strives to promote a spirit of love for our Savior, Jesus Christ.

All thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children (Isaiah 54:13).

With this approach, in an Afrocentric manner our children will be taught to spread the message of faith and prayer through the praises of our little heavenly voices.

Requirements

• Be 3 to 6 years of age
• Parent or guardian must be a member of Trinity United Church of Christ
• Must attend parent orientation on the fourth Saturday of the month during rehearsal
• Be potty trained
• Be able to talk/sing
• Show the utmost respect for the Choir Director, Officers, Sponsors, Clergy and all adults in and around the Church
• Must attend at least four (4) rehearsals to sing for worship services. Two of these rehearsals must be the 2 Saturdays before they sing on Sunday.
• Respect their peers
• Have regular attendance at rehearsal
