The Lord has blessed us with another exciting year for the Men's Chorus, and can you believe we are celebrating our 23rd year as strong African American men who are "Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian." It has been an awesome journey as we strive together as One Voice, One Choir.

The Men's Chorus experienced continued growth in the year 2006. This year, the Men's Chorus saw its membership grow to 155 active members. We started the New Year by serving two meals to the congregation every first Sunday following the first and second services. We participated and contributed to several events within the church such as: Reverend Barbara J. Allen Scholarship Fund, Dr. Jeffery Paul Radford Memorial Scholarship Fund, Men's Conference 2005 Scholarships, Men's Worship Services, Women's Chorus Concert Reception, Adopt –A-Student, We Care 2006 and several more.

We developed several new committees' this year the Caring & Giving and Devotion and Buddy Program to help brothers spiritually connect and fellowship with each other. We are proud to be a part of the media ministry, in addition to spreading our message in song outside of Trinity. Some of our singing engagements have been with Covenant United Church of Christ, Friendship West Baptist Church, Lebanon Baptist Church, Progressive Baptist Church, New Faith Baptist Church, and the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center. We must continue to lead by example and show what glorifying the Lord can do in the life of men.

The Men's Chorus is the largest of all the men's only ministries at Trinity, and is a vital part of the growth and involvement of men in the church. Luke 12:48 (KJV) states that "...For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required; and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." Because we have grown, we must give back to God not just in song, but also in deeds. We are humbled and blessed to answer God's call and to do His will.
