Mission Statement

The Mission of the Health Advisory Board (HAB) is to give God the glory by providing the Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC) community with information, education and screening services regarding pertinent healthcare issues.

Overview

The Ministry consists primarily of Christian healthcare professionals who are dedicated to the prevention of illness.

Our Ministries activities are usually conducted on the premises of TUCC where they are accessible to all members of the TUCC community. The HAB exist to enable all members of the community to become more knowledgeable partners in their own health maintenance. The success of those efforts may be measured by the results of basic screening test i.e.: Blood Pressure, Serum Cholesterol and Glucose measurements. With the support of community healthcare facilities (with more extensive diagnostic and therapeutic services) we plan to make a significant impact on the health status of our community.
